Chambre Neuf - one of our favourites! Great staff and a good band every night make for an awesome apres ski. Best of all, live Swedish girls dancing on the tables, the perfect way to finish after a day on the mountain.
Goophy - a great bar with a superb restaurant, pulling in a "cool" crowd it's a top spot for partying with locals, seasonaires and visitors alike. Live dj's every night and an abundance of cocktails ensure a pumping party! Gold stars from us but watch out for the Fernet shots! They're just cruel!
L'Elevation 1904 - A cafe and a bar in one, great for apres ski, lunch or a coffee. With sport on the TV it's a top place just to hang out and enjoy a few beers.
Café La Terrace - smack bang in the middle of town by the river, La Terrace has good live music for apres ski downstairs and a more lounge type cocktail bar upstairs. With live dj's it's a cool place to spend the evening.
The Queen Vic - straight out of Albert Square with sports on the TV. Its like you never left London, a great place for shooting a game of pool and they serve Stella!!!
L’Expedition - a late night bar with flair. Its small but always packed with mix of Chamonix locals and tourists alike. Great cocktails and a funky dj.
Bar'd Up - an Aussie theme bar and definitley not the place for a quiet beer. Sports on the TV, mainly football, its jammed and the beers just flow.
MBC - the Micro Brewery de Chamonix or MBC, a short walk out of town but well worth the visit. All their beers are brewed on the premises and there's top live bands. Great Canadian bar food and beer that slips down way to easily and sneaks up you fast! It's got our vote!
The Pub - funnily like its name says a pub. Not one of Chamonix's trendy bars but the pub always has a good crowd and its a top place to hang out with your mates before the big party.
The Jekyll - an Irish Pub with a reputation for good food and friendly staff. Situated just south of Cham-Sud it has live bands and dj’s.
South Bar - wall to wall Swedes partying like they only know how! Making Cham-Sud rock, the South Bar is always packed and very popular! Great live bands and lethal shots!
Up the valley in the village of Argentiere is the famous Office Bar that's a pub, cafe, restaurant and has internet services. The newest bar is the Rusticana, run by Posh John the Rusty, as it's affectionately known is fast becoming the place to be.
Down the valley in Les Houches last year saw the launch of Le Delice, getting great reviews from the locals its blend of resaurant and tapas bar has done wonders for the Les Houches scene!
Nightclubs
The Garage - is Chamonix's late night venue, with specific theme nights and dance music it can be great fun when you're with a group of friends. Open until 4am and found on the Rue De L'Aiguille du Midi.
Dicks T Bar - on the Rue de Moulin, owes its roots to the famous Val D'Isere nightspot of the same name. Music like a uni bar and specific themed nights make it a popular spot!
Le Tof - is Chamonix's local Gay bar in Cham Sud. Off the path of the mainstream tourists its definitely worth a look one night.
