alps. Three countries, 7 awe inspiring valleys, numerous
glaciers and some of Europe's most famous summits. |

| The celebrated
"Tour of Mont Blanc" is the trek that hikers
aspire to. Europe's ultimate trekking experience. |
It
starts with places of pilgrimage & ancient Roman
roads. As you move through France you pass the famous
Col des Fours and then via the Col de la Seigne you
discover the Italian side of Mont Blanc across the Val
Veni. A mild meandering descent into Italy brings you
to the town of Courmayeur and after some free time you
move on towards the Grandes Jorasses. From here, there
is a spectacular sunrise on Mont Blanc & a change
in scenery as you walk through beautiful Swiss pastures
to the small hamlet of Trient, its amazing glacier perched
high above you on the mountain side. As you make your
way over the Col de Balme you pass the stunning, rugged
Glacier du Tour & head towards Argentiere to finish
this spectacular adventure.
